Odisha Government has launched Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana for meritorious students who have passed the +2 examination within the Odisha state for future higher study. Laptops are distributed to all streams of +2 like- Science, Arts, Commerce, Sanskrit, and Vocational students. Total 15,000 Laptops are distributed to any or all Odisha students in 30 Nodal centers.
But From 2021 Government of Odisha stop this direct laptop distribution program and changed Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran yojan to Laptop DBT Scheme.
Laptop DBT Scheme 2022 -:
The Government Of Odisha changed its name and system to Laptop DBT Scheme 2022. Now from 2021, the Government has given Rs.30,000 to each meritious student for buying laptops for higher study and online study in this pandemic time. A total of 15,000 students get benefits from this new scheme. The total budget of this scheme is 450,000,000. Under DBT (Direct Beneficiary Transfer ) scheme students get RS. 30,000 direct in their bank account.
